All base board rates include use of the farm facilities. Monthly fees do not include supplements, farrier, vet, grooming, or any other 3rd party expenses incurred by Dusterah Equine Center.
Horse lives outdoors in a fenced area with covered shelters & automatic waterers. Each paddock can house multiple horses. Horses that board alone may be paired with other solo horses. Board includes feeding organic alfalfa cubes 2 times daily & grass hay at lunch. Paddock cleaned 7 days a week.
Horse lives in a 12x12 MD stall in an open-concept barn. Stalls feature rubber mat floors, open-concept stall front & sides, automatic waterers, electric fans & an organic fly deterrent system. The secondary barn has a covered outdoor double wash rack with hot water. Board includes feeding organic alfalfa cubes 2 times daily & grass hay at lunch. Each stall is cleaned 7 days a week & bedding is replaced as needed with high-quality shavings.
Horse lives in a 12x12 MD stall in an elevated center aisle barn with a wide cobblestone aisle down the middle. Stalls feature rubber mat floors, automatic waterers, electric fans, windows & an organic fly deterrent system. The Milam Barn has an indoor double wash rack with hot water, an evaporation cooler, a tack room with refrigerator/freezer & a full bathroom with a shower. Board includes feeding organic alfalfa cubes 2 times daily & grass hay at lunch. Each stall is cleaned 7 days a week & bedding is replaced as needed with high-quality shavings.
Plans are in the works for a third barn to be completed Fall 2024. This open-concept barn will feature 12 12x12 MD stalls with rubber mat floors, a tack room, a covered outdoor double wash rack with hot water, an organic fly deterrent system, electric fans & automatic waterers.

Stallions must be housed in a stall & are charged an additional $300/month stallion care fee.
Foal watch is 24/7 video watch to ensure hands-on care at the time of birth.
Halter-breaking available at 2 weeks for additional $300 One-Time Fee.
Note that paddocked mares must be stalled for the anticipated birthing month. Client is charged stall board for the birthing month & 4 months stalled aftercare. After 4 months, the baby is weaned & subject to full board in client-chosen paddock or barn.
